Scope

The County is seeking ways to reduce the carbon footprint of County facilities. One of the County’s highest consuming and least energy-efficient facilities is the Executive Office Building (“EOB”) in Rockville, Maryland.  The EOB is a 16-story 234,000 square foot high-rise all-electric building consisting mainly of offices and meeting spaces, as well as a cafeteria on the Terrace level. Construction of the building was completed in 1981.
