The County’s Prevailing Wage (County Code Sections 11B-33-C and 20-75) mandates that construction contracts that exceed $500,000.00 are subject to the Prevailing Wage Law. The County routinely contracts for the construction of buildings, roads and bridges that range from under $1 million and approach $100 million, although the types and dollar amounts may vary each fiscal year. In addition to County Prevailing Wage Law projects, the County occasionally does federally funded Davis-Bacon projects. Thus, the County is in need of a consultant to perform Prevailing Wage Law compliance services in conjunction with these contracts. The County is requesting proposals from experience professional firms capable of providing administration/consulting service to the County in accordance with its Labor Compliance Program (LCP) software database platform.
