It is the intent of the Department of General Services, Division of Fleet Management Services to request issuance of Request for Proposals (RFP) for competitive sealed Proposals for the manufacture of sixty (60)-foot heavy-duty articulated transit buses powered by clean diesel fuel.  In the RIDE ON Bus Fleet Management Plan 2017 to 2025, the size of the fleet and projected capital cost per bus by fiscal year is detailed through FY25 (July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025). This Plan includes recommendation for 87 expansion buses for a 102-mile bus rapid transit (“BRT”) network on ten corridors to improve mobility and accessibility throughout the County.
