It is the intent of the contract to provide perishable and non-perishable grocery items from a wholesale food provider in support of severe storm operations (wind, snow, and rain events). This allows the County to have ready food items in advance of storm events to be prepared by in-house personnel. Boxed and packaged grocery items can be picked up within 24 hours of a storm event or delivered upon request by the various DOT depots. Upon request by the County, the Contractor must provide food and grocery services as described in this Contract Document and at the rates set forth in the Contractor’s bid.

The Intent of this Invitation for Bid is to establish a Fixed Price or Rate of Discount Contract for the purchase of goods/services for Montgomery County, Maryland, as per the Terms, Conditions, Specifications and/or Scope of Work, and Quotation Sheet contained herein.
