The intent of this solicitation is to secure a contract for the services of licensed uniformed professional security, including  all labor, supervision, training, background checks, equipment, uniforms, and supplies necessary to provide the security function at various County sites: including, but not limited to, Montgomery County Circuit Court Complex, 50 Maryland Avenue and 100 Maryland Avenue; Family Justice Center, 600 Jefferson Street; CSEA, 51 Monroe Street; Public Safety Headquarters, Edison Park; Silver Spring Civic Center; and various Health and Human Services County sites.  Responsibilities include staffing entry level screening personnel, supervising contract employees, and provide staffing for the Security Command Center with closed circuit television equipment and alarm monitoring.  Security guard services may include patrol and protection of the facilities, grounds, and parking lots which fall under the control and direction of the Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Police Department, and other County agencies.  Although the Sheriff’s Office and the Police Department will be the primary user of this contract, various other County departments and agencies reserve the right to use this contract on an as-needed basis.
