It is the intent of the County to award a contract to a qualified entity for the provision of glass repair and installation services at County (owned and leased) facilities on an “as needed” basis under a Time and Materials contract. The Division of Facilities Management (DFM), Department of General Services (DGS) oversees the operation of over 400 County-leased and County-owned facilities. The Contractor shall have the experience and knowledge of glass installation and repair services at government facilities such as offices, libraries and recreation centers and for high security facilities such as detention centers, holding cells and related law enforcement facilities.
