Scope

The commissary and accounting software must function on the County’s Microsoft platform with antivirus software running across the full functionality of the accounting system. The accounting software must accommodate at least 2,000 active inmate accounts, at least 30,000 inactive inmate accounts, and a minimum of 100 users. The system must follow the County’s Information Security Policy as described in Montgomery County Administrative Procedure AP 6-7.

The recommended configuration for the Contractor’s support PC is:
• Client PC: CPU: Intel Core Ultra 5 225, 10 cores or above, Memory: 16GB or above recommended
• If Software requires Java, it should be able to work with latest version of Java 
• Supported Browsers on Windows Platforms: Microsoft Edge (latest version), Chrome (latest version) or Firefox (latest version).
• If any part of the accounting software relies on any Microsoft products including but not limited to MS Visual C++, it should be able to work with the latest version of that product to adhere Montgomery County Security guidelines.
