The County intends to enter into one Contract with a Contractor to provide towing of inoperable vehicles impeding traffic flow on site.

Service Requirements

The Contractor must remove vehicles from The Shady Grove Road Processing Facility and Transfer Station within two hours of the received request.
The contractor will determine when the tow request is made what equipment is necessary.
The County requestor will confirm and accept which equipment is being dispatched.
Contractor will provide storage information where the destination for towed vehicles is located, and fees assigned to the vehicle owner if any fees are charged to recover the vehicle. The vehicle owner must contact the hauler for information on storage location.
The County will post signs that state where abandoned vehicles will be towed at the vehicle owner's expense with contact information for the towing company.
Vehicles in question can range from passenger cars to heavy-duty trucks such as trash trucks (various cubic yard sizes, up to 25 cubic yards)
