Scope

ITEMS – The Scope of Work (SOW) requires the furnishing of surface mounted transit shelters and accessories, with internal lighting powered by solar or utility; surface mount and in-ground installed 4ft, 6ft & 8ft benches; bus stop pole mounted solar lighting units for bus stops across the county, to support the Division of Transit Services bus stop amenities program, inclusive of replacement parts for
maintenance of all contracted amenities.

The Division of Transit Services (DTS) is responsible for providing passenger amenities at all County maintained bus stops and intends to enter into a contract to purchase prefabricated, bolt down, modular transit shelters, with internal LED lighting and other accessories for use at bus stops county-wide.

The Contractor will be responsible for furnishing and delivering transit shelters, accessories, benches, solar lighting and related replacement parts to a DTS authorized warehouse.

All amenities must be ADA compliant and designed to withstand extreme wind, heat, cold and rain loads typical to the mid-Atlantic region.
