Scope

The Montgomery County, Maryland, Department of General Services, Division of Building Design and Construction intends to use this solicitation to select qualified Consultants to provide Inspection & Material Testing (IMT) Services for new construction or renovation of various County facilities such as but not limited to recreation centers, day care center, libraries, office buildings, fire stations, public safety, police stations, pools, warehouses, vehicle maintenance, etc.:

Up to three (3) qualified contractors for Inspection & Material Testing Services may be selected for various County Facility projects.
The Contractor shall provide complete inspection and materials testing services as defined in this Contract and any Task Order. The County makes no guarantee that any or all the services defined in a Task Order will be utilized. The services must be performed as defined in the Testing Specifications (Exhibit G), as required by Montgomery County’s Special Inspections Program (Exhibit H), as required by Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) (Exhibit I), and/or as defined in the Roofing, Air Barrier, and Waterproofing Quality Assurance, Monitoring, and Construction Inspection Requirements (Exhibit J). The Contractor shall also provide other incidental inspection and materials testing services as directed by the County through Task Orders. These inspection and testing services may include, but may not be limited to, the following:
