Scope

The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, Division of Support Services (FRS) currently has various commercial appliances at facilities including but not limited to, FRS Fire Stations, Worksites, Office Buildings, and the Central Maintenance Facility (CMF) throughout Montgomery County, Maryland. FRS requires a contractor to provide manufacture recommended maintenance, inspection, repair, parts, and replacement of commercial appliances as needed. Services and shipment of deliveries will be to the variety of FRS facilities within Montgomery County, Maryland listed below in Section 5.3, A.

FRS requires a Contractor to perform regular inspection, maintenance, and repairs to its commercial appliances at identified Fire and Rescue worksites listed below. FRS will be the authorized user of the Contract resulting from this Solicitation (the “Contract’).

The purpose and intention of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to afford all suppliers an equal opportunity to bid on all specifications listed in this bid proposal and for the County to obtain competitive proposals as allowed by Montgomery county Government. The County will accept only one bid from each vendor and intends to award one contract as a result of this solicitation. Proposers must meet or exceed specifications as specifically described in addendums attached hereto.
