Scope

The County intends to enter a contract with one qualified Contractor to provide two sizes of recycling carts (35-gallon and 65-gallon) and 22-gallon recycling bins to be used in the County’s curbside residential recycling collection program, and to provide pickup and recycling of unusable bins and carts.

The County expects to order approximately 1,035 units at a time (i.e., one truckload), per the sole discretion of the County.

There is no guarantee by the County to the Contractor that any, nor any certain quantity, of carts or bins will be ordered, nor of the value of what the County may order over the Contract term.

An example of the Contract the County expects to issue is provided as Attachment E.
