The County intends to enter into contract(s) with a contractor(s) for the procurement of automotive batteries. Contractor(s) must provide direct battery replacements of equal or greater CCA (Cold Cranking Amperage) for all requested replacements. All batteries must be fully charged and operational at the time of delivery and covered for a warranty period stated on page E-5 upon installation. Contractor(s) will be responsible for providing a direct replacement at no costs to the County on all batteries in inventory with a loss of SOC (state of charge). The Contractor(s) must pick-up battery cores at the time of battery deliveries at each location, at no charge to the County for pick-up or disposal of the battery cores, and provide the County with recyclable data on a yearly basis.
