Scope

The County intends to enter into a contract with a Contractor that must purchase, pick-up, transport, recycle, repurpose, and/or dispose of batteries from the Facility to an approved processing facility or location approved by the County for recycling, reuse, repurposing, or disposal.

The Contractor must accept and remove batteries received from the Public Drop Off Area. The types of batteries accepted are:

a. Alkaline
b. Lead Acid
c. Lithium
d. Lithium-ion
e. Lithium-Polymer
f. Mercury
g. Nickel-Cadmium
h. Nickel-Metal Hydride
i. Silver Oxide
j. Uninterrupted Power Source (UPS)
k. Zinc Air
