Scope

The MCFRS is soliciting bids for the provision of heavy duty chains, slings, ropes, and accessories suitable for technical rescue operations and heavy lifting in a range from 2 tons to 20 tons. A price list or a flat discount from catalogue list price is an acceptable bid. Examples of products sought include the following (but are not limited to):

• Grade 70-120 Chain of various lengths and sizes with and without grab hooks, including Pewag brand
• Grade 70-120 chain ratchet load binders, including Pewag brand
• 5/8” wire rope with or without grip hoists including Tractel brand
• Snatch blocks of varying dimensions, including Gunnebo Johnson brand
• Beam clamps including Tractel brand
• Chain hoists of varying dimensions, including Columbus McKinnon brand
• Heavy duty come-a-longs
• Synthetic chains of varying dimensions, including Tycan/Green Pin brand
• Twist lock shackles of varying dimensions
• Master links and chain clusters
• Slings suitable for heavy lifting and towing
• Ratchet straps suitable for heavy lifting and towing including custom grab hooks, clusters, and assemblies
