The purpose of this Contract is to provide ready sources for a wide variety of rental construction equipment. The types of equipment to be rented are commonly used in construction of roads, streets, and traffic signals, and in the maintenance of roads, streets, traffic signals and trees. It is anticipated that the rentals may be needed on short notice whenever County-owned equipment is out of service for extended periods.
The rented equipment may be used by various departments or agencies within Montgomery County. It is impossible to outline in detail the anticipated frequency of use to be covered by this Contract. This Contract is a Requirements Contract. Montgomery County makes no guarantee of any kind of the volume or total value of this contract. All rentals are contingent upon appropriate fiscal funding.

The units furnished under the terms of this Contract will be late model (2018 or newer), mechanically sound equipment. The equipment will be subject to inspection and acceptance by the County prior to use.
The equipment shall operate, function, and perform as specified and in accordance with the equipment manufacturer’s specifications. All equipment must be in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local standards and regulations.
