Scope

Departments and Agencies in the County have a need for goods and services based on requirements and timelines for various events. Events may be recurring or one-time only.

Events have included parades, pageants, festivals, amusement fairs, concerts, plays, recreation events at County pools, golf tournaments, wine tastings, races, retirement dinners, various entertainment and educational events, cultural and heritage fairs, food fairs, etc. Rental equipment is also required for public safety, transportation, building and construction departments.

The County subscribes to the system of identifying commodities and services for public procurement according to the National Institute of Government Procurement (NIGP).

The types of commodities anticipated for these services can be found in Attachment D.
