Scope

BACKGROUND

The Montgomery County Community Engagement Cluster hosts an annual Montgomery County Thanksgiving parade on the Saturday morning before Thanksgiving in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

A. The Contractor must deliver all equipment based on the requirements listed in the Quotation Sheet. Locations, dates and times of events will be listed on any purchase orders issued by the Office of Procurement.

B. The Contractor must provide sufficient experienced staff to be on-site to set up, operate, and take down all equipment.

C. The Contractor must ensure that all stages, artificial turf, tents and tent anchors are set up properly, with hardware secured, to ensure safety.

D. The Contractor must arrive at 4:00 A.M. for grandstand setup. Setup and safety checks must be completed by 6:30 A.M., and Contractor must begin grandstand breakdown at 12:45 P.M.

E. The Contractor must ensure that all cabling is appropriately secured and out of walkways.

F. The Contractor is responsible for managing and safely securing portable generators.

G. The Contractor is responsible for setting up tables, chairs, hand sanitizing stations, attaching tent skirts, press risers and stage steps correctly and safely.
