The Montgomery County, Department of Correction and Rehabilitation is seeking proposals for qualified, manufacturer trained/certified technicians to administer treatment to inmates on-site at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility. The technician must be licensed by the State of Maryland to provide dialysis services and must have at least five (5) years of experience.

The selected service provider must provide all dialysis and lab testing equipment including two (2) hemodialysis machines (one must remain at MCCF), test equipment for dialysate and water purification system (for water quality and safety), dialysis recliner, deionization system, carbon filtration system, blood pressure monitor, scale and personal protective equipment (gloves, gowns, masks, shields).

The selected service provider must provide all supplies and medications for treatments. Specimens for laboratory tests must be drawn by the technician on-site and dispatched to the provider’s laboratory (of choice) at no cost to the COUNTY.
