The Department of General Services, Division of Facilities Management (DFM) oversees the operation of over four hundred (400) County-owned and County-leased facilities. Some of the services provided at County facilities require the use of Fall Protection/Suspended Maintenance (rope descend) equipment and systems. DFM requires a contractor to perform the inspection, certification, maintenance and repairs (as required) of its Fall Protection/Suspended Maintenance systems. The County requires a Contractor to perform the inspection, certification, maintenance and repairs (as required) of its Fall Protection/Suspended Maintenance systems. located at County facilities. The County intends to award one Contract as a result of this Informal Solicitation. DGS will be the authorized user of the Contract resulting from this Solicitation (the “Contract’). The Contractor is not to perform any work under the Contract for any other County agency.
