The Montgomery County Council is interested in retaining the services of a qualified independent consultant to provide support to a Councilmember office. This is a position supporting legislative duties related to policy analysis, including preparing reports, creating original analysis, and facilitating meetings with stakeholders critical to the policy development process. This position will focus specifically on policy work related to public safety, criminal justice, and racial equity. This position requires experience engaging with diverse stakeholders to analyze, formulate, and advocate on local policy matters in the Montgomery County, MD context.
