1. Background/Intent
1.1. It is the County’s intent to enter into a Contract with a qualified general construction firm to PROVIDE ALL SERVICES RELATED TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE METROPOLITAN BRANCH TRAIL PROJECT. 

2. Scope Of Services / Work Statement
The Work is defined in Attachment I. Please refer to Attachment H for the Contract Period and Warranty Period.
The Project Site is located in: Silver Spring, Montgomery County, Maryland
All Construction work for this project shall be in accordance with the Montgomery County Road Code and Design Standards, and the Maryland Standard Specifications for Construction and Materials, dated (July 2020), with project specific Special Provisions, the “standard” Special Provisions, Special Provision Inserts, and all provisions included in the RFP.
PERMITS: Permits will be available prior to issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP).
The CSX Agreement included in Attachment P is a draft document. We anticipate having this finalized prior to NTP.
