The DOCR is looking for a Contractor to provide security glass and glazing services to include removal of the existing damaged glass, fabrication (on or off-site), and installation of detention grade glazing for inmate cells, cell doors, and other high-security areas. Contractor must supply durable, detention-grade, tamper-resistant, glazing materials that can withstand repeated impacts and remain intact upon forced entry/exit attempts.
Services are on an as needed basis and the Contractor must be able to service calls within two (2) business days upon receipt of the DOCR request. All work must be scheduled and completed within seven (7) business days after the Contractor’s response to the DOCR’s request for service is accepted. All work is performed between 7:00am and 5:00pm EST, Monday through Friday which is considered standard operating hours.
