The African American Health Program (AAHP) was created by the Montgomery County, Maryland’s (County) Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in 1999 to improve health access and health awareness to eliminate health disparities in African Americans/Blacks and individuals from African and Caribbean descent (Target Populations).
AAHP is seeking a partner to provide evidence-based mindfulness training and coaching services to enhance the personal psychological health of County residents within the Target Populations. These training and coaching services are to be offered as a Mental Health Program and Coaching Program (each referred to as a “Program”). The County intends to facilitate 4 Mental Health Programs and 4 Coaching Programs in the first term of the contract resulting from this solicitation with the compensation for these services being approximately $15,000.
