The Montgomery County Department of Correction and Rehabilitation (DOCR) needs  licensed barbers/beauticians in to provide barber and hairdressing services to inmates inside the correctional facilities.  

• The Contractor must have at least three years of experience providing services within a correctional environment. The Contractor and staff must also be licensed by the State of Maryland.
• The Contractor must have a minimum of three (3) licensed barbers/beauticians available to provide services weekly and an addition two (2) as backups for holidays, vacation, sick leave, etc.  The County will establish a quarterly schedule based on the average daily population (ADP) and demand for services.  The Contractor must provide services for up to two (2) days per week as established by the schedule.
• The Contractor and staff must be experienced with cutting and styling men and women, and hair types of various ethnicities.  The Contractor must be capable of executing various hair-style cuts as well as special services including braiding, pressing, and curling.
