The Office of Agriculture intends to award one contract to a qualified person or company to provide part time social media management services that include: managing all the OAG’s social media accounts: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, You Tube; developing a social media strategy with defined goals to increase awareness and expand engagement across all the platforms.
The contractor will be tasked with expanding and enhancing the Office's current digital marketing aimed at broadening the awareness and increasing the knowledge and engagement of county residents in regard to the following: 1. The County’s Agricultural Reserve (the “Ag Reserve”) - Educate/inform residents about its existence, importance, benefits (social, environmental, economic, emotional, etc.) to all residents/County as a whole.
2. The County’s agricultural sector - Educate/inform viewers about the diversity of agricultural business in the county (i.e. traditional agriculture, commodity agriculture, agri-tourism, horticulture, food production, equine, etc.)
3. Market/promote the small agricultural businesses. Use social media platforms to help market and drive business to all local agricultural operations.
4. Educate about the programs and services offered by the OAG and its partners to the agricultural community and residents.
