LIBERAL LEAVE

Montgomery County Government facilities are OPEN on Monday, March 16, 2026 according to their normal operating schedules with optional LIBERAL LEAVE for nonessential employees effective 12:00 PM through 11:59 PM. Essential employees must report as scheduled.

Nonessential employees should report as scheduled or choose to take leave for all or part of the day.

Note: Non-essential employees must notify their supervisors of their intent to use appropriate leave although prior supervisory approval is not required. See MCtime Resources – Liberal Leave Timekeeping Guidance.

This guidance does not apply to FOP or IAFF members.
